1) How did your early professional experiences shape your approach to talent acquisition and what eventually led you to join Incubeta?

My early professional experiences at Hays were instrumental in shaping my approach to talent acquisition. Starting my career in roles that focused on customer service and technical support, I developed a strong foundation in understanding people’s needs and solving problems efficiently. 

Transitioning from agency recruitment to in-house talent acquisition, I leveraged these skills to focus on the candidate journey, ensuring a seamless and engaging process. My time at companies like BT Group, Bolt and Hive Technologies allowed me to refine my ability to identify top talent and match them with roles that suit their skills and aspirations. I learned the importance of aligning candidates’ values and career goals with the company’s culture and objectives.

Joining Incubeta was a natural progression in my career as it allowed me to combine my passion for digital innovation with my expertise in talent acquisition. Incubeta’s commitment to growth, both in terms of business and employee development, resonated with my professional values. One of the emerging trends in talent acquisition that excites me is the integration of artificial intelligence and data analytics in the recruitment process. These technologies are transforming how we source, screen, and engage with candidates, making the process more efficient and data-driven.

At Incubeta, I embrace these trends by incorporating AI tools to streamline our recruitment process. This includes using AI-powered platforms to identify and attract top talent, as well as leveraging data analytics to gain insights into hiring trends and improve our decision-making process. By adopting these technologies, I’m able to enhance the candidate experience, reduce time-to-hire, and ensure we are making informed, strategic hiring decisions.
